Monuments
The fortification system is has a superface of 20 acres, is protected by 10 towers which are mainly in square plan, some in the circular plan as well. This system is also special and unique because it consists of many entrances and this feature cannot be found in other Illyrian cities. The city has 14 gates and entrances and Lissus is called as The City of Gates. The road system is characterized by a great number of roads.
