09/10/2013 : The ancient city of Amantia has been severely damaged by illegal diggers of tombs and archeological sites. Clear digging signs show that there have been people recently in the site, and they have destroyed almost everything. Two archeologists who were about to start working in the area were shocked by the destruction they found. The Jews Tomb, a monumental grave that is their current archeological work object, has been damaged to the point that it might not be recovered anymore as a monument.
